One sign-in, every Madeira shop on the program. Check in with your phone’s location or a counter QR, your shop picks which. Redeem at any participating business. No fees, no points-to-dollars math, no email lists you didn’t ask for.
Apple, Google, Facebook, phone, or email. Your call. You get a stamp card the moment you finish.
Most shops verify with your phone’s location, open the shop page on shop-madeira.com, tap Check in, and you’re stamped. Shops that prefer a counter QR keep a tablet by the register that rotates a fresh code every minute, you open the Shop Madeira iOS app and scan it. Each business picks the path that fits their counter.
One stamp per visit, once per shop per day. Saturdays earn 2× across every participating shop.
Once you have enough stamps, the app surfaces the merchant-funded perks you can take right now, a coffee, a bouquet, an appetizer. You show the code; the shop honors it.
Each tier unlocks at a stamp count. Once you reach it, the wallet shifts. Tier names are exact: Visitor, Neighbor, Resident, Madeira Steward.
Day one. You start here the minute you sign up.
Fifty stamps. You shop in Madeira often enough that we want to thank you for it.
Two hundred stamps. You are a regular, and shops can see it when you check in.
Seven hundred fifty stamps. The neighborhood would not be the same without you.
Stamps are a non-monetary measure of your activity at Madeira shops. They cannot be purchased, transferred, or redeemed for cash. They unlock perks funded directly by the shops you visit.
Most shops verify your check-in by location, you tap a button on the shop page, your phone confirms you’re inside the radius, and the stamp lands. Shops that prefer a counter QR keep a tablet by the register; you open the Shop Madeira app, scan their rotating QR, same result. The shop picks; you don’t have to think about it.
Shop Madeira does not buy your perks. The shop you visit does. That is why the perks are real, a free croissant, a hand-tied bouquet, a half-off bottle, instead of points-store junk.
The program is independent, owned by a small team in Madeira, with a long-game vision for keeping the neighborhood’s commerce in the neighborhood.
